The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, synthesis, characterization, and optimization of small molecule novel drug candidates for various drug discovery targets, working in close interaction with discovery groups in biological research. This is a supervisory position involving overall responsibility for a functional group, including budget planning and management.

Requirements |
 |
A PhD in organic/ medicinal chemistry with at least 6 - 8 years of relevant industrial experience |
|
Demonstrated experience in multi-step syntheses of complex molecules and development of new syntheses strategies |
|
Good understanding of both chemical and biological aspects of drug discovery |
|
Extensive experience and knowledge in organic synthesis/ purification and characterization of compounds |
|
Strong communication skills and a commitment to working in a team environment |
|
Candidates with supervisory experience will have a definite advantage |
