Dr. Simon Campbell (Chairman)
Dr. Campbell is the Editor-in-chief for the Current Opinion in the Drug Discovery and Development journal. He is also the chair of the Expert Scientific Advisory Committee for the MMV initiative on malaria, and serves on the British Petroleum Technology Advisory Committee. Prior to his retirement in 1998, he was the Pfizer Senior Vice President for the World-wide Discovery and Medicinal R&D Europe.
During his tenure at Pfizer, he co-authored over 110 publications and patents, and was a key member of the research teams that discovered doxazosin (CarduraTM) and amlodipine (Norvasc TM), both of which are now leading agents worldwide in their respective therapeutic class. In addition, he was the senior author on the research proposal that led to sildenafil (ViagraTM), the first oral treatment for Male Erectile Dysfunction. In 1999, Dr. Campbell was elected as Fellow of the Royal Society, and was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Science honoris causa by the University of Kent at Canterbury. In 1997, he became the first non-American to receive the Herschberg Award from the American Chemical Society.

Dr. Randall K Johnson
Dr. Johnson was formerly Director of Oncology Research at SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoSmithKline, where he led the team responsible for the discovery and development of topotecan. This drug is currently marketed for the treatment of lung and ovarian cancers. He is currently acting as an Advisor to several pharmaceutical and biotech companies in anti-cancer drug discovery and development. In a career spanning some 30 years in both government and industry, Dr. Johnson has worked at the National Cancer Institute (NIH), Arthur D Little Inc and GlaxoSmithKline / SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals where he last held the position of Group Director with the Department of Oncology Research.

Prof. Edison Tak-Bun Liu
Prof. Liu is the Executive Director of the Genome Institute of Singapore, and holds concurrent appointments as a Professor of Medicine & Special Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Singapore. Prior to his appointment with the GIS, Prof. Liu held the position of Director of the Division of Clinical Sciences at the National Cancer Institute (USA), between 1996 and 2001, where he was responsible for directing the intramural clinical translational research at the NCI. He has published over 150 articles and reviews. Additionally, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association for Cancer Research, and was the recipient of the Rosenthal Award from the AACR for his contributions in clinical translational cancer research, and the Brinker International Award for Breast Cancer Research from the Komen Foundation.

Prof. John Wong
Prof. Wong is a Medical Oncologist, Vice-President (Research / Life Sciences), Dean of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Director, Office of Life Sciences and Professor of Clinical Oncology, at the National University of Singapore. In addition, he is the Director of The Cancer Institute, National Healthcare Group and Director of the Cancer Therapeutics Research Group. Prof. Wong's research interests are in the development of new drugs and new treatment strategies, and identification of molecular differences between Asian and Caucasian cancers.

Prof. Alan List
Prof List is the Division Chief of Malignant Hematology, Morsani Chair and Deputy Physician-in-Chief at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. He is also a Professor of Oncology and Medicine at the University of South Florida. Prof. List and his team are well recognized for their contributions to understanding the biology and advancing the development of novel therapeutics for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Prof. List serves as the leader of the Hematologic Malignancies program at the Institute and is the lead investigator on a study for the treatment of MDS that made headlines in Cancer Weekly, Biotech Business Week, Health & Medicine Week, and other medical publications.
